Piss takers - fuck paying that, I think I will just pay £50 in train fares and join the queue of 50,000 trying to get into stratford tube station.........

Inevitable, but 8 quid is still not that bad for the convenience factor and given how much parking generally costs.

I expect the price will continue to go north rapidly though...

Mr Khan's aim is to price car drivers out of London altogether. Wait till he extends the congestion charge out to the North Circular.

Stratford International didn't put their prices up they just don't allow you to buy 6 hours parking on event days. You have to pay for 24 hours.

They also charge £8 for an 'event' day when we're at home now, but the helpful attendant on Wednesday told me that the website can't recognise this so it's still £6 if you pay online within 24 hours.
